About

Manish Vora, Co-founder Artlog.com & Arlo, spent his childhood dreaming of building & owning castles while visiting museums and palaces across the world. He was inspired by a legendary (black robe wearing) Medieval and Renaissance history teacher named Mr. Smith in Wayland, MA – public school may not totally be broken. He developed a love for Titian, Botticelli and Dali and a healthy skepticism. After some thrilling cultural and historical studies at Yale including art & architecture tastemaking 101 by Vincent Scully and a brief foray into sculpture, he set his sites on Wall Street. After gaining a PHD in excel as an investment banker at Citigroup he became Director of Research at equity research firm, Monness Crespi, & Hardt. He appeared on CNBC and was quoted in numerous media publications before leaving to pursue his life long dream of building a castle which may or may not be Artlog & Arlo.
